Tagaore Utsav celebrated at Jamia

Jamia University celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore at its campus.

Tagore Utsav, an event celebrating the birth anniversary of literary great Rabindranath Tagore, was started at jamia millia islamia yesterday.


As part of the event, a Shantideep peace march took place from Jamia School to Jamia Tagore Shila on the day two of the event. Members of Flying Birds of India, a branch of Aseem Asha Foundation which is engaged in teaching and promoting innovative use of new media tools and technologies, and students from Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School participated in the march.

The participants also showcased their creative side by engaging in on the spot art and craft activities.
