A topper shows the way

A CAT topper has created one of India's biggest classrooms.

Byju Raveendran is a CAT topper with a difference. He is giving back to his community by teaching what he knows best, preparing for competitive tests.

Every weekend in Bangalore, Byju trains around 1200 CAT aspirants in a single classroom (an auditorium actually). Over 10,000 students attend the same class across the country via a satellite link up. The classes are organised by Byju's company Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd.

Think & Learn has over 20,000 students this year. It has tied up with the best trainers for each subject of most of the competitive tests, campus recruitment and even formal school education. "Good teachers cannot be at every place all the time. So we believe in providing the best platform to them to broadcast their teaching as widely as possible. Every student deserves the best teacher. This is our philosophy," said Byju.
